Wonderful blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or
go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed
.. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Hi Theda, thanks for your comments, I’m glad you like the blog. Every writer works in a different way no doubt; for me I have to arrive at a sort of altered consciousness through writing – you can only get there by sitting in front of the keyboard and staying with it; for an hour or two in a six or seven hour day the words start singing, and that’s the stuff you keep. Throw away everything else, be your own harshest critic. As far as the web stuff is concerned, my publisher set the site up in the first place, but WordPress is pretty easy to use – I just write the words and drop in the pictures. Good luck with the writing
